At the October press conference of the Ministry of Science and Technology, on the morning of November 4, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Deputy Director of Personnel Organization, said that these projects involved 413 authors. Of these, 404 people are on the list of authors considered for the Ho Chi Minh Prize and 9 people are authors and co-authors in the cluster of works considered for the State Prize.

The work with the largest number of authors is "Technology platform and design and manufacturing of 5G telecommunications network infrastructure to serve dual uses for national digital infrastructure and national defense and security", with a total of 153 co-authors.

The award consideration process is carried out according to a strict process, from receiving and reviewing documents to publicizing the list of authors, co-authors and summary reports of the works.

The Ministry of Science and Technology has published information on the Ministry's electronic portal and VnExpress Newspaper after receiving documents, reviewing and evaluating them at the Specialized Council and the State Council.

The Ministry representative said that since the information was made public until now, no complaints or recommendations have been received regarding the award consideration process as well as the authors' contributions to the works proposed for award consideration.

"The Ministry is qualified to report to the Prime Minister to consider the next steps for the projects proposed for award consideration," Ms. Hue said.

The Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Science and Technology are two noble awards awarded by the Party and State to honor authors and co-authors of outstanding and especially outstanding scientific and technological works. Among them, excellent projects are considered for the State Award, and particularly excellent projects are considered for the Ho Chi Minh Award.

Since 1996, there have been 6 rounds of awards, with 107 projects awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize and 1,029 projects awarded the State Prize in science and technology. These are all projects that have made important contributions to the development of the country.
