“In September 2026, market research organization Euromonitor International completed a survey on glob”

Key Takeaways

  • 1.In September 2026, market research organization Euromonitor International completed a survey on global retail sales of vacuum cleaning robots.
  • 2.The results ranked ECOVACS ROBOTICS at No.
  • 3.1 in the group of floor cleaning robots with rollers, based on the number of machines sold in 2025.

In September 2026, market research organization Euromonitor International completed a survey on global retail sales of vacuum cleaning robots. The results ranked ECOVACS ROBOTICS at No. 1 in the group of floor cleaning robots with rollers, based on the number of machines sold in 2025.

A roller cleaning robot is a type of robot vacuum cleaner that uses a rotating cylindrical shaft to clean the floor, instead of a flat rag dragging under the machine body. ECOVACS is the leader in this group with roller technology called OZMO ROLLER.

Third title in three months

This is the third record ECOVACS has received since August 2026. Previously, NIQ GfK ranked this company as the best-selling robot vacuum cleaner brand in Vietnam. Forbes China then named ECOVACS the leading global household robot brand in a survey published in September 2026.

These three titles measure three different things, as the previous two looked at the entire robot market while Euromonitor only ranked in the group of floor cleaning robots with rollers.

Mr. Dao Hai Dang, ECOVACS brand representative in Vietnam, said that this title recognizes the technology investment direction that the company has chosen. "The global No. 1 title in the roller cleaning robot segment is recognition for the path ECOVACS has chosen: investing in technology that addresses users' biggest concerns when cleaning the house," Mr. Dang said.

He said that for the Vietnamese market, the company wants to bring this technology to more families at more price points.

Roller instead of rag

Flat rag cleaning robots have a familiar drawback: the rag gets dirty with every meter of floor. Once the stain has stuck to the rag, the robot drags that same stain throughout the house.

OZMO ROLLER handles this with a roller that is supplied with clean water and washes itself continuously while the machine is running. The part of the roller that touches the floor is therefore always the part that has just been cleaned, from beginning to end of a cleaning session.

The latest generation is OZMO ROLLER 3.0, available on DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni with 27 cm long roller. According to confirmed Beijing AVC data, ECOVACS has sold more than 2.8 million roller cleaning robots globally by the end of June 2026.

Three DEEBOT models, three prices

In Vietnam, ECOVACS is selling OZMO ROLLER 3.0 on three DEEBOT lines, ranging from the high-end segment to a more accessible price. The most expensive model is DEEBOT X12 OmniCyclone with the company's suggested price of 24,990,000 VND.

DEEBOT X12 OmniCyclone has an additional step of spraying water to soften stains before the roller wipes over. The cheapest model is DEEBOT T80 Max Omni priced at 15,990,000 VND, and according to the company, this model sold more than 5,000 units in the first week of sale.

Standing in the middle is DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni priced at 17,990,000 VND, the ECOVACS roller cleaning robot model that Vietnamese people choose to buy the most according to the company's statistics. As of the end of October 2026, more than 25,000 DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni machines have been sold in Vietnam.

In addition to the roller, DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni can quickly recharge 10% of the battery in 3 minutes each time it returns to the washing station. The company says that thanks to this mechanism, the machine can clean up to 500 m² in one session without having to stop to fully charge. The machine also cleans close to the edge of the wall, can overcome 2.4 cm high door edges and has a brush set to limit hair tangling.

One-third of the Vietnamese market

According to NIQ GfK, ECOVACS accounts for 34% of the robot vacuum cleaner market value in Vietnam in the year until the end of June 2026. If calculated based on the number of devices sold, the company's market share in the same period was 31.8%.

Also according to published ECOVACS data, the market value of robot vacuum cleaners and house cleaners in Vietnam increased by 137% during this period. The group of machines priced over 15 million VND increased the fastest, and all three models with OZMO ROLLER 3.0 are in this group.

At the distribution stage, Hop Long Technology Joint Stock Company will be ECOVACS' distribution partner in Vietnam from 2022. Hop Long's system currently has more than 2,000 sales points nationwide, of which about 1,500 are Dien May Xanh stores.

Euromonitor's reputation gives ECOVACS one more argument when talking to buyers, but that argument only stands strong in the right group of roller cleaning robots. For families considering a robot costing 16 million VND or more, the more practical question is whether the machine will clean long-standing stains without dragging them all over the floor. The roller is selling well, not because of the medal but because it removes the washing of rags that many families still have to do by hand after each wipe.

  • No. 1 title according to Euromonitor International (Shanghai), based on global retail sales of roller vacuum cleaner robots in 2025, research completed in September 2026. The number of 2.8 million robots was confirmed by Beijing AVC, based on online channel and store data from August 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026.

  • Market share of 34% and 31.8% according to NIQ GfK retail data for the robot vacuum cleaner industry in Vietnam in the 12 months ending June 30, 2026. Forbes China title according to the 2026 household robot business survey. An increase of 137%, sales of each model and number of sales points according to published ECOVACS data.
