Mercedes-Benz Vietnam has just officially introduced three new plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) models including the GLC 350 e 4MATIC, E 350 e and S 580 e 4MATIC belonging to the new S-Class. Recommended retail prices are 2,999,000,000 VND, 3,399,000,000 VND and 6,189,000,000 VND respectively. At the same time, the PHEV transmission system also appeared on the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 e (8,899,000,000 VND).

The car models were launched on October 29, 2026 at "The Icons, Electrified" exhibition at Thu Thiem Riverstage, Thu Thiem Riverfront Park, City. Ho Chi Minh City, in the group of 5 new electrified car models of MBV. Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 e 4MATIC

GLC 350 e 4MATIC adds a plug-in hybrid option to the flagship GLC SUV line. The car is 4,736 mm long, 1,914 mm wide, 1,643 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,888 mm. The AMG Line exterior comes with 20-inch AMG wheels with 5-spoke spokes, a glossy aluminum hood, welcome lights projecting the Mercedes-Benz logo and three-pointed star patterned light mats on the two front doors.

DIGITAL LIGHT front light cluster integrates ULTRA RANGE Highbeam and Adaptive High-beam Assist Plus. Mercedes-Benz E 350 e

The E 350 e brings a plug-in hybrid powertrain to the E-Class sedan line. The car is 4,962 mm long, wheelbase 2,961 mm. E 350 e uses M254 2.0L gasoline engine combined with electricity, total capacity of 313 horsepower, 550 Nm, 9G-TRONIC gearbox, rear-wheel drive, acceleration 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, maximum speed 236 km/h. 19.53 kWh battery for 97-116 km of electric driving according to WLTP, fully charged 11 kW AC in about 2 hours. The AGILITY CONTROL suspension system has adaptive damping.

Mercedes-Benz S 580 e 4MATIC

S 580 e 4MATIC is the PHEV version of the new S-Class, a car model that was just announced as MotorTrend Car of the Year 2027 on October 20, 2026. According to Mercedes-Benz, about 2,700 components, equivalent to more than 50% of the vehicle, were newly developed or improved in this upgrade. The car is 5,309 mm long, has a wheelbase of 3,216 mm, and uses 20-inch 10 dual-spoke forged wheels.

Mercedes-Maybach S 580 e uses the same 21.96 kWh battery and charging configuration as the S 580 e 4MATIC, pure electric range of 92-98 km. The company notes that actual distance, consumption and charging time depend on operating conditions, battery status and charging conditions.
