Suzuki Vietnam has just officially introduced the new Suzuki XL7 in the Vietnamese market on October 30, 2026 with two versions GL and GLX, suggested retail prices of 569.9 million VND and 599.9 million VND respectively (VAT included). This 7-seat car model has been refreshed on the exterior, most clearly the front of the car, along with some interior decoration details, and has a total of 7 exterior color options.

According to Suzuki, the car will be displayed at the dealer system nationwide from October 30, 2026, and the first units are expected to be delivered to customers from November 2026.

Exterior design

The most visible change is at the front of the car. The new XL7 uses a newly designed trapezoidal grille, along with square headlights and fog lights. According to the company, these details help the front of the car look more solid than before.

Suzuki said the overall dimensions of the vehicle remain the same. The announced parameters are length x width x height 4,450 x 1,775 x 1,750 mm, wheelbase 2,740 mm. The ground clearance of 200 mm is quite high for an MPV, helping the car avoid worrying about undercarriage when climbing curbs or going through bad roads, while the minimum turning radius of 5.2 m makes turning around in narrow streets easier.

Both versions have headlights, fog lights and LED daytime running lights. The GLX version has an additional automatic light on/off mode and a navigation light feature, which means the light stays on for a while after turning off the engine to illuminate the way for people getting off the car at night.

On the body of the car, the door handles, side panels and roof racks are coordinated in black, along with the wheel arch covers. The car uses 195/60R16 tires on 16-inch alloy wheels; The GL version uses milled alloy wheels, while the GLX version uses black painted alloy wheels. Electrically adjustable and folding rearview mirrors are available on both versions, but the GLX has an additional auto-folding function when locking the car with the remote.

On the roof of the car is a shark fin antenna. According to Suzuki, this type of antenna helps make the roof more compact and reduces entanglement when entering areas with low ceilings or when covering the vehicle with tarpaulin.

At the rear, the LED taillight cluster has a smoked decorative border surrounding the red light strip. The press release calls this "smoke gray" trim, while the spec sheet says "smoke black trim".

The two versions have clear differences in equipment. The GL version uses a urethane steering wheel, manual air conditioning, 7-inch touch screen and 4 speakers. The GLX version has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic air conditioning, 10-inch screen, 6 speakers, push-button start, cool compartment and cruise control, convenient when running on the highway because the driver does not need to constantly hold the gas pedal.

Both versions have a multi-information display, a sliding center armrest, air conditioning vents for the rear seats and wired and wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity. With Android Auto, the GL version only supports wired connections, while the GLX supports both wired and wireless.

Engine & operation

Fuel consumption announced by Suzuki for the GL version is 7.45 liters/100 km in urban areas, 5.20 liters/100 km outside urban areas and 5.91 liters/100 km mixed. The GLX version is 6.71, 5.35 and 5.85 liters/100 km respectively.

The front suspension is MacPherson combined with cylindrical springs, the rear suspension is a torsion beam combined with cylindrical springs; Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes. The vehicle's unladen weight is 1,190 kg.

Safe

The vehicle has 2 ISOFIX child seat anchor points on the bottom and 2 belt anchor points on the top. Reverse camera is only available on the GLX version.

Selling price

Suggested retail price (VAT included) of the new Suzuki XL7:

• XL7 GL: 569,900,000 VND (only one tone color)
• XL7 GLX: 599,900,000 VND; Choose two-tone color combination plus 8 million VND, or 607,900,000 VND

From October 30 to November 30, 2026, customers who buy the new XL7 will receive a 950-liter fuel voucher, worth 25 million VND. According to Suzuki, this offer is converted into cash and applies to all versions.

The vehicle is warranted for 3 years or 100,000 km, and the lithium-ion battery of the hybrid system is warranted for 8 years or 160,000 km. The company also offers free first-time maintenance.
