Apple downloads iOS 27.3 beta on compatible iPhone models, allowing users to interact with AI-integrated Siri virtual assistant in Vietnamese.

Vietnamese becomes the 7th language supported on Siri AI, just two months after this artificial intelligence-integrated virtual assistant was officially released with the iPhone 18 Pro series. Apple announced Siri AI with iOS 27 at WWDC 2026 last June but only supported English in test versions. The company just updated 5 new languages ​​last week on iOS 27.2: French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Siri AI's early support for Vietnamese shows that Apple is considering this as one of its top focus languages. Previously, it took up to 14 years for the regular Siri assistant to start being available in Vietnamese in 2025.

However, iOS 27.3 beta is a test version, there may be errors that affect usage such as application compatibility or increased battery consumption. Users should be careful when upgrading to the beta version or should not upgrade on the main device.

To upgrade, users access Settings > General > Software Update, open the Beta Update feature and start updating to the latest iOS 27.3 beta. iOS 27 versions support iPhone 11, second generation iPhone SE and above, but only iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max or higher models have the completely new Siri using AI.

The new Siri deeply integrates AI with the next generation of Apple Intelligence as well as being supported by Google's Gemini models. Assistants on iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers now have significantly better conversational capabilities, connect to the Internet when needed, and help users brainstorm ideas, refine plans, answer complex questions, and even create detailed schedules.

Apple also introduced a standalone Siri app, bringing its AI assistant closer to competing chatbot platforms. This app stores previous conversations, allowing users to continue the session across multiple Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro.

Users can still activate Siri by saying "Hey Siri", pressing the side button or swiping down from Dynamic Island on supported iPhones and iPads. The interface of this assistant has also been completely refreshed, allowing interaction right on the external screen as well as within the application.
