Siri virtual assistant integrated with artificial intelligence in Vietnamese has appeared on the iOS 27.3 Beta test update just released by Apple.

With the release of iOS 27.3 Beta, Vietnamese officially becomes the 7th language integrated into the Siri AI system, just two months after the new generation virtual assistant launched with the iPhone 18 Pro phone line.

Previously, Apple first introduced Siri AI with the iOS 27 platform at the WWDC 2026 event in June with an initial test version limited to English. By iOS 27.2, the company added 5 more languages ​​including French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish before continuing to expand to Vietnamese in the next update.

This progress shows a big change in Apple's localization roadmap, when the traditional Siri version previously took 14 years from launch to begin supporting Vietnamese in 2025.

Although the iOS 27 operating system is compatible with the second generation iPhone 11 and iPhone SE, the new Siri AI feature is only available on models from iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and later due to processing hardware requirements.

However, it should be noted that this is a test version for developers and early users, the operating system may develop technical errors during actual operation such as third-party application incompatibility or increased battery consumption. Users are advised to consider carefully and avoid upgrading directly on devices that serve their main daily work.

The new version of Siri is deeply integrated with the new generation Apple Intelligence platform, and also uses the Gemini large language model from Google. This architecture extends natural conversational capabilities, allowing the assistant to retrieve Internet data in real time to assist users in formulating plans, solving complex questions, and establishing detailed schedules.

Apple also developed an independent Siri application, which operates similarly to chatbot platforms on the market. The program has the function of storing conversation history, supporting seamless session synchronization across the company's entire hardware ecosystem including iPhone, iPad, Mac computers, Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro virtual reality glasses.

Users can activate the assistant with the voice command “Hey Siri”, hold down the physical power key, or perform a swipe down from the Dynamic Island area on compatible devices. The new display interface allows users to interact directly on the external screen and inside running applications.
